Meet your designer
I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Michelle Boyle and I am the lead designer and owner of California Chic (pronounced like sheik not chick). I am a mom to 3 amazing kiddos. When I am not designing I am working out, practicing yoga, running, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and seeking adventure. I love the beach, paddle boarding, surfing, hiking and music of all kinds. Concerts are my very favorite activity (well aside from shopping). I can be seen most days in jeans, a worn t shirt and flip flops, sans makeup. I have the mouth of a sailor and my best and worst quality is that I tell it like it is.
My 2 girls are also into design, my oldest is in college and majoring in Interior Design and working at an amazing three story Anthropologie store. My middle loves to do 3D floorplans, graphic design and is in charge of my social media on most days. Its a family affair and we are loving every bit of it.
Before founding California Chic, I have always had an eye for design. As a child instead of playing with Barbie’s I would spend hours decorating and re-decorating her dream houses. I went to college in the bay area for Interior design but ended up in real estate. When my kids got a little older I decided it was time to get back to what I am passionate about and California Chic was born. We are now in our 9th year of business and continue to learn, grow and thrive all because of our amazing cliental.
